It was my first annual cookie exchange this evening. The idea is that you make 4 dozen of one kind of cookie, then get together with a bunch of ladies and exchange, and leave with 4 dozen assorted cookies. (This was started by my neighbor Kristie who moved to Texas this summer, so I felt it my duty to carry on the tradition.) It was a small group of us this evening, but very successful! I will have to expand the guest list next year... The best part: I'm done making cookies for the season!
