It was time for the kids' first dental appointment. I had been putting it off because I just didn't know where to take them, and I didn't feel that our Newberg dentist office was all that kid-friendly. We ended up choosing a dentist that specializes in children, and it turned out to be a great experience! Really nice, new office designed for kids. Friendly and helpful staff. The kids were thrilled the moment we walked into the waiting room!

Drew liked the dinosaurs.

Dr. Bittner was GREAT with the kids!

He showed the kids how all the tools worked. Drew thought the vacuum was pretty cool, so the Dr let him play with it the rest of the visit. This first visit was a "get to know you" visit, but the dentist did look in both kids mouths and made a few comments. The picture below looks pretty clinical, but the rooms really were friendly. Big windows, lots of light, and televisions on the ceiling with cartoons playing!

The kids each left with a goody bag packed with a toothbrush (really nice ones- Oral-B Disney Princess and Cars), toothpaste, kids flossers, gift cards for free kids meals at Red Robin, they each picked out a sticker and a toy (they both choose purple bracelets) and a balloon!
