Drew really enjoys camping. He loves being outside and playing in the dirt. He loves making "cities" out of sticks and pine needles and rocks. He loves using his shovel to dig and also to see how high he can throw dirt in the air before we stop him. While Lapine was not one of my favorite campgrounds, Drew thought it was great. After all, it was the dirtiest (actual loose dirt) campground we have been to. His favorite part was the patch of sandy dirt meant for a tent site but perfect for a three-year-old boy who loves dirt (and golf).
