Drew was on top of his game Saturday morning!
We played against the Rapids at 8:00am -a little early in my opinion.
Drew had a turn playing Goalie
"Go Team!"
Good game, good game...
Drew is finally feeling better, and was ready for action this Saturday. We were worried about his first game since he chose not to participate in practice last week, but apparently he learned a lot by observing. From the moment we got there, he was on the field kicking the ball towards the goal. I think his coaches were amazed! They don't officially keep score yet, but Drew scored 2 of the 3 goals of the game, and did a great job at goalie too. My favorite quote of the day was when he ran over to us and declared, "Mom, it moves fast out here!"
